About me
I have worked in shops since I left school, and I love the moment a customer finds the right thing. Online shops need that moment too. I build product pages that are tidy, quick to scan and easy to use on a phone.
My work
Weekly Budget Calculator
You enter what you plan to spend in each category, and the page shows the total and what is left. Functions with parameters and return finally made sense while I built it, and textContent shows the results.

Product Gallery with CSS Grid
A gallery of stationery products that shows several columns on a computer and one on a phone. I practised grid-template-columns, gap and useful alt text for product photos.

My learning journey
- Week 1: studied in short blocks after the school run, one small page each day
- Week 3: learned the box model and finally understood margin and padding
- Week 5: built a product gallery with CSS Grid
- Week 8: wrote a weekly budget calculator with functions and return
- Final weeks: made my website responsive and asked customers at work to try it on their phones
