How the UNWIND Online EXPO uses your data, in plain words.
Who is responsible
The controller for this website is Smart Leap Education Research Consultancy GmbH, Vogelsanger Weg 91, 40470 Düsseldorf, Germany, [email protected]. The website is part of the Erasmus+ project UNWIND.
What we collect
If you register: your name, e-mail address, an encrypted password, how you take part (for example employer or training provider), your organisation and country if you give them, your interests, and your choices about contact and future activities. If you take part: your questions, talk requests, room choice, feedback, commitments and evaluation answers. Showcase participants also add their portfolio. We do not ask for sensitive information.
Why we use it
To run the event and your account (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to show your portfolio or commitment publicly only if you agreed (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and to report anonymous participation numbers to the project and its funder (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visit statistics without cookies
We count visits without cookies and do not store your IP address. A short code made from your connection details changes every day, so we cannot follow you from one day to the next. Only daily totals are kept.
Videos and calls
Live streams and video calls run in external services. A video is only loaded when you press "Load the video". Talk and room links open the external service in a new tab.
Contact between participants
Your e-mail address is never shown on the site. It is shared with an organisation only if you accept its talk request and you agreed to contact sharing.
Who receives data
Our hosting provider and our network provider process data on our behalf. Anonymous participation numbers go to the UNWIND partners and the Turkish National Agency.
How long we keep it
Event data is kept until the end of the project reporting, then deleted, except portfolios and commitments that you keep public. You can delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and you can object. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen).
Age
The EXPO is for adults. You must be 18 or older to register.
